Reblade specialises in windfarm decommissioning and blade waste innovation. We deliver turnkey end-of-life solutions for wind energy operators, managing the full complexity of decommissioning programmes from strategic planning and regulatory compliance through to safe, efficient site execution. As the UK's onshore fleet ages and operators begin to face fleet-level end-of-life decisions, Reblade is positioned at the forefront of a rapidly maturing segment, and we're building the team to match that ambition.
About the Position
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager to support the continued development of Reblade. You will lead our active market engagement, driving commercial growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong corporate relationships, and securing decommissioning and blade-recycling contracts across the renewables sector.

Business Development Manager
Location: Reblade is a Glasgow-based business and office-based working is welcome. However, we will also consider hybrid and home-based working. Travel will be required.
Contract: This is a full-time, permanent position.
Salary: Dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Market Outreach: Actively identify, target, and engage potential clients across the onshore wind sector in Scotland, the wider UK, and European markets.
Deal Execution: Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from initial cold outreach and discovery calls through to contract negotiations and closing new business.
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary commercial point of contact for corporate wind energy clients, developers, and procurement teams.
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate sales pipelines and tracking tools to forecast commercial growth and report regularly to the executive team.
Industry Representation: Represent Reblade at key renewable energy conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of proven track record in a business development or commercial sales role, ideally within the renewables, wind energy, or heavy supply chain sectors.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, capable of dealing comfortably with site engineers up to corporate procurement leaders.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the UK wind energy landscape, decommissioning frameworks, or circular economy systems is highly desirable.
- Education: Ideally a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

- Commercial Drive: A hands-on, proactive approach to hunting new business opportunities and hitting commercial targets.
- Strategic Communication: The ability to clearly articulate Reblade's unique technical solutions and sustainability value proposition to corporate buyers.
- Autonomy: Highly motivated and comfortable establishing a disciplined, continuous market presence with minimal day-to-day oversight.
