Renewables land and development specialist joins to Reblade's specialist windfarm decommissioning team
Reblade has appointed Jorunn Gluyas as Project Manager, further strengthening the company’s growing team.
Jorunn comes to Reblade from the development side of the renewables industry, where her work on onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects has given her a strong understanding of land rights and landowner relationships. She also brings valuable experience of project-managing life extension schemes on operational sites.
At Reblade, Jorunn will work on Decommissioning and Restoration Plans, along with decommissioning feasibility studies and technical site audits.
Decommissioning a windfarm depends on good relationships with the landowners and communities who host it, and on a clear understanding of how owners plan their projects. Jorunn has built her career on those relationships from the developer’s side of the table, and that perspective will strengthen the planning work that sits at the start of every Reblade project.
Fiona Lindsay, Co-founder of Reblade, said: “Jorunn brings an understanding of how windfarm owners and landowners work that is really valuable during decommissioning. Her appointment strengthens our planning service at a time when more operators are preparing for the end of their sites’ working lives, and she is a very welcome addition to our growing team.”
