ReBlade was proud to provide two items of blade derived furniture to Scottish Renewables for The Scottish Green Energy Awards 2021. The pieces included a blade tip bench and the main podium for the award ceremony, which proved to be a great talking point at this important industry event.
Lisa Russell of Scottish Renewables said:
“It was fantastic to bring our industry together for The Scottish Green Energy Awards to celebrate outstanding achievements and inspiring innovation within the sector. Our members are at the forefront of the green economy and really understand the importance of circularity and sustainability, so to include a podium made from a decommissioned turbine blade was very much aligned to the values that The Green Energy Awards embody. The ReBlade team were great to work with, the set up was straightforward and seamless and the impact of these items at our industry event was exactly what we hoped for.”
Fiona Lindsay from ReBlade said:
“We were absolutely delighted to be involved in The Scottish Green Energy Awards. It’s an event we look forward to attending every year, and to have our blade derived pieces as part of the event infrastructure was a real privilege. A big thank you to Scottish Renewables for inviting us to showcase some of the practical and useful circular destinations for decommissioned turbine blades!”
